Review

MegaRed has pure 100% Antarctic Krill (shrimp-like crustacean) oil that contains a mix of omega 3 fatty acids that include DHA and EPA.  This supplement also includes antioxidants and phospholipids all of which support heart, joint and brain health.  This supplement is different from your general fish oils in that krill oil comes in phospholipid form.  This means that it is easily absorbed and carried to cells in a form they can use.  This is important for cell membrane replacement.  This Softgel has no fishy smell or aftertaste to contend with.  This relatively small softgel is easy to swallow and contains no preservatives or artificial colors.  The softgel is formulated to dissolve within an hour after taking.

User Opinions

Consumers rate MegaRed between 1 and 5 stars but mostly in the 5 star range.  The general comment for most reviews involved husbands and wives that indicated that they love the product.  They wrote that it is small and easy to swallow.  It has no aftertaste and doesn’t cause stomach upset and Omega Red has improved their overall health.

One review came from a doctor who had been taking Lipitor for about 4 years.  This product was causing his muscle tissue to break down and over a long period of time this is not uncommon.  Due to this problem he went on a low fat diet and began taking MegaRed along with some other omega supplements.  Within 2 months his cholesterol levels were back to normal and his muscle loss stopped.  The nice thing about Omega Red is that it cost a lot less than than the prescription drug Lipitor and you don’t get the side effects.

MegaRed is doctor recommended and consumers say the price is reasonable for a high quality product.

Dosage

Take 1 MegaRed softgel per day.
